what are you cryin about.. the slaughter pigs to!? so why dont start a: Save the pig group!?. Ill tell u why. cause pigs are ugly. and horses are beutifull.. Who wants to save an ugly animal!?

Thank you ILPH iam happy:)there are people who try there best to save the beautiful careing animals(Horses)from such harm and death people have to realy think if there was no such beings as horses mankind would not be where thay are today.So stop eating them and respect them for all what thay have done for this human race.

If you've ever shared a bond with a horse, you'd know that they don't feel enslaved. All of the horse trainers I've known approached the equines with gentileness and not violence. The horses whom I've known and ridden, enjoyed my company as much as I did theirs. How can you not see it when they whicker excitedly at the gait before a morning excursion? I'm all for saving horses from slaughter. They deserve more. They are friends and allies.

people raise pigs, cows, chickens, ect. for that exact purpous so its not as cruel as deciding oh! dont ride this horse anymore! besides giving a child a loving pet for a lifetime ill just sell it for my greedy money... people like that make me sick!!!!!!!!!!

horses form a bond and love thier riders... we take care of them and in return we earn their trust. its a great bond that usually cant be broken. they trust us to take care of them. if they were in the wild they would die like 10yrs sooner:(

What about the starving horses whose owners can't afford to feed them? No one is thinking about them. Yes, horses are beautiful creatures and we hate to see them treated like this, but would you rather see them suffering?! So many horse owners have horses who are in pain everyday and have to pay thousands of dollars on them every month so that horse can live on and have a so-so life because there is nowhere to take the horse anymore. I am trying to educate everyone to look at the gray area.

Aw that is so sad. If someone can't take care of there horse they should be kind to it and give it to someone else to take care of or have it put down by a vet in a kind way. Not just sell them to be used as meat. So happy less of this is happening. Hope it soon is against the law to kill them in such a way

WE need to make the slaghter and transport part better,less violence less stress,less horses in the transports.They are natural claustrofobic animals.I cant see no wrong with eating them ,but we need to do it calmer and don't put them in a dark corner with a hundred other nervous horses...

for the simple fact that some of them need to be put down for more reasons than you apparently know. Some are so injured that they NEED to be put down. Some are so dangerous that it's the last hope. But who are you or I to say what ppl can eat overseas when they don't come over here and tell us we can't do this or that. It's NONE of our business what they eat over there !!
