WEll, I know that wal-mart offers multiple forms of health insurance to its employees, some immediately available to any employee. and full benefits after 90 days for FT, and 1 year for PT associates. the immediate insurance isn't great, but it's somthing.

Shopping at Wal-mart has created a vicious, cycle that ultimately benefits no American, NONE. As we buy more and more cheaply produced products,OVER 90% ARE NOT MADE IN THE USA, other countries get stronger as we weaken. Businesses that compete with Wal-mart are forced to OURSOURCE in order to remain competitive. This has on effect on nearly every industry. Americans are being shut out of many markets. AS PRICES GO DOWN, LABOR GOES OVERSEAS. SHOPPING AT WALMART IS UNPATRIOTIC.

Wal Mart employees end up going on the public dole to support their families. Translation: Joe Taxpayer is paying billions to take care of Walmart employees while Walmart basks in their profits. Wal-mart: Passing the Savings onto you! The only part they don't tell you is that it is THEIR savings. That is unethical.

ok first these people dont even work at walmart long enough to need the benefits, second id rather buy things at a discount store like walmart then at a place where everything cost twice as much or more

Sorry, that should be "Is this why people don't last at WalMart more than 90 days."
I'm not worried about WalMart making profits, or even the amount. But if these people are hired with management knowing they'll be canned shortly before benefits, I think that ranks somewhere between dishonesty and fraud.
