Umberta what? :) If I know the artist or not, when something is nearly unreadable then yes, it's awful. Yes, I can interpret tone of the written word as millions of other people can. Tone does not here refer to sound. From Merriam-Webster Online: "style or manner of expression in speaking or writing."

That's not what I am saying, someone who is mental handicapped can be called a "retard". The word "retard" just has a negative connotation. The word "retard" is used by people who, for the most, are hateful & not accepting of individuals with learning disabilities.So when I see or read a 51 year calling someone a "retard" it bothers me. Plus I just find the term "retard" to be hateful and rude.There are more appropriate ways of "labeling" a person who is handicapped than calling them a retard.
