I agree datura1983. The chorus line in Josha Kadison song "Beautiful in My Eyes" that says "And the passing years will show that you will always grow ever more beautiful on my eyes" is true about Kate Bush.

So, we are supposed to judge artists on how well they age? With attitudes like yours, no wonder so many female artists are falling prey to money making plastic surgeons- who leave them looking less than human, with trout pouts and dead lizard eyes!!! I think Kate looks fantastic - without cosmetic enhancement. The more relevant point you made, is that her voice is brilliant- but I think that was your sick idea of a backhanded compliment!!!

so quick to jump on that soap box! the point you missed and that i was making is that time has ravaged her beaty BUT NOT HER VOICE! shes still a wonderful artist. There a re lots of examples of artist who age and loose there voices dont be too quick to judge people!!!

i think we both agree shes a fantastic artist but i saw an interview about ten years ago and she had not changed one bit still the same sexy lady. Compared to recent pics/vids she so different so my question wouldbe whats she been doing last i heard shes only has one sibling? hey if thats what married life does to you i'll take a back seat and die alone anyday :)

I know Kate suffered badly when her beloved mother died- and I feel so much sympathy with her for that! Also, being a parent is very stressful in today's environment. However, I still believe that most people are influenced by unrealistic images of women who have been air-brushed or had plastic surgery. I'm glad we both agree that she's a fantastic artist though.

I am about Kate's age, although male. I have been enthralled with her ever since I saw her her only American appearance on SNL in 81. I have seen her as a young woman and a mature woman. And nothing, in my mind, has changed. She still has the same passion and originality as when I first saw her perform "Them Heavy People." She is one of the most respected artists in Europe. She even made Johnny Rotten shut up at an award show, just by walking on stage. No easy feat. She just is.
