Holy hell, I had no idea anyone could make comedy from Citizen Kane. But hey, a movie that is that high up on the critic's list needs a bit of lightening up.
Good job, btw, even though Citizen Kane is one of my favorite movies. ^^

I think we're supposed to pretend that they're making some other movie, not Citizen Kane. Otherwise, you're right, it doesn't make sense. But the Scottish guy is clearly the director here, so I think it's supposed to be some other project.

Funny idea and all. But unfortunately with the level of youth and intelligence here on youtube, you are probably confusing the ignorant and degrading Welles as often as you are making people laugh. What is the top clip of Welles on youtube? The only known footage of Welles being drunk. The average youtuber has never even seen a Welles film, and probably never will. And since this is one of the finest examples of his screen acting, I have to say I really couldn't enjoy this all that much.

This clip wasn't uploaded for those who have never even seen a Welles film. For those of us who have, it's hilarious.
