i heard them before, yea, theyre nice songs, but they dont show any type of special skill, or show any huge difrence from any other guitar player, i have seen tons of guitar players that can play their shit easly, i can play 3 of his songs, n i only played for 3 years, not try seeing if steve vai can put some scales like yngwie can.

This is a great song from a mediocre album. I really wish Yngwie would release a new album with the excitement of Trilogy and vocals of Odyssey. Yngwie is a great player and anyone who has ever picked up a guitar should know that his music is challenging and his playing is fluid. Obviously there are some who think he is the best in the world (cough cough reonarudo) but I wouldn't go that far. I mean, really think how absurd that statement would be. But he is great and I loved him with G3.

Yngwie could sell so many more records and get the respect he deserves as a player if he stopped writting "Spinal Tap" lyrics. I know people who say he is a great player, but don't listen to his music because of the dumb lyrics. I went to an Uli Roth show and one of the kids in line said " I love Yngwie,But I just can't take anymore songs about dragons". I hope that his new record will not be something that you have to be 13 to enjoy. His last record had a lot of great songs mixed with junk.

I do think he is the best, tell me, can Van Halen play those scales with that speed n clarity? can Joe do that? no he rather play with technology n random notes that if he plays the lasty note on scale sounds good, (kinda like jazz in a sense) but not ygnwie, he plays scales perfectly n makes music out of those scales instead of playiong random crap, or steve vai, whats up with bad horsie, has a nice entry, but cags it with the melody, u tell me how r they better?

Hey Ren... just because Satch and Vai explore various sounds in their music doesn't mean they lack technical ability. It's not like Yngwie has never used effects before. Unfortunately you are blinded by your favoritism for Yngwie and that's fine, everyone has their favorites.
