This bit of video is raw footage taken in late October 2007 from the Tank Commander position as we relieved a Section of M1A1 Abrams Tanks from an over watch position near Camp Ramadi. If you have never been on a tank this will give you a good idea of the sights and sounds experienced by a M1A1 Abrams Tank Crew from the Tank Commander position - Enjoy!

Wow! Is it so boring to ride a tank in Iraq? No shooting, no fighting, just destroying roads and cars? Seems to like a total waste of time and resources!
