Where have you been living all these decades. In a cave? Mao is dead for ages. Buddhism is the fastest growing religion in China. I thought you Viets like to watch Hong Kong martial arts serials where Buddhism is widely shown. In fact China spread Mahayana Buddhism to Vietnam during the Han dynasty. The Chinese pricess Wen Cheng was also instrumental in promoting Buddhism in Tibet when she married King Songtsen.

I was in Tibet two years ago and was shocked at how superstitious the Tibetan people are. Unfortunately the Tibetan people will always been taken advantage of whether it is the old Tibetan regime or the Chinese government. There sure are a lot of brainwashed people out there who believe the Dalai Lama is a walking god and get upset when you tell them contradictory things. I think of him as a slick politician and am in favour of the Chinese government as long as they respect the Tibetan culture.
