Trevor Rabin joined Yes members Alan White, Chris Squire and Steve Howe to perform "Cinema" and "Owner of a Lonely Heart" on November 11, 2004 for an appearance at a Concert for the Prince's Trust, a tribute show which featured a number of bands produced over the years by the one-time Yes member and producer Trevor Horn.

Is it just me or does it seem like Steve Howe gets better and better at playing and soloing on Rabin-era material as he gets older? The first time I heard him do it was just ugh, please let someone else do it. Now it sounds more like it fits in to the song. Anyone else notice this?

I have nothing against Alan White - he is fantastic drummer, but I personally think Bruford is better - just an opinion. Check out his stuff with King Crimson, UK and Earthworks. I have seen both drummers play live many many times before in different formats. White is a "rock" drummer, but Bruford is technically rounded

Never any doubt in my mind that Howe could play circles around Rabin when he wanted to. I think his ego created a mental block against the Rabin material from the 80's. Age didn't make him a better player, age just broke down the wall.

Trevor Rabin is a winner, even though it wasn't his intention he gave Yes their only real hit ever that more or less saved the band from extincion. He is a superior composer and songwriter who don't se the point in touring year after year with 30 year old songs for the sake of money... Bash him as much as you like, but the fact that he is still succesful doing new stuff all the time proves every singe Trevor Rabin critic in the world wrong. Not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact...

Rabin and Howe are both great players and phenomenal musician. Thank goodness their styles are so different. They are both musician's musicians.
