As part of the festivities surrounding Super Bowl XLI, I was invited to ESPN's NEXT Party, held in the Miami Design Center on February 2nd. The video reads February 3rd, because the concert started around midnight. At any rate, it was totally off the hook.
The video was made from about 50 feet from the stage, and at an angle perfect to capture not just LL, but the crowd of people enjoying his music. As to the audience it was smaller than you may think, but that's only because this was a large private party. Plus, the event -- the party - started a
t 6 PM, so by the time LL Cool J came on, some of the patrons had left. The concert itself was an incredible show. You'll see at the video...
