Yes. My father is from Hama but he rarely talks about what happened. He has been a troubled and silent man for all of his life, and I know it is because of what he saw in 1982.

Apamea at the Orontes was the most beautiful Roman city I ever saw. Even more beautiful as Palmyra.
We have bough there two fine Roman gemmes that we ware now in our rings.
My wive and me were also in Hama. I never heard of a masacre in that town. Whats that about ?
