hey i have a question, i was wondering if anyone could help me. I bought a fiberglass skimboard, and i think it may be too light. whenever i go to drop it the wind will always catch it... so i guess what im asking is how heavy should they be??

light boards are good. the trick to it is to get the board wet first, then kick some sand on the nose of the board( on the bottom) it adds weight to it so the wind doesnt carry it away, and also washes off when it hits the water. hope this helped!

we are allowed to skim on 1 side of the pier where i live.... and every1 just stands in our way and doesnt move....yet the "tourist" side is empty but life guards wont let us skim there
