Danny's parents, Judea and Ruth Pearl, reflect on his life and last words in this webcam video shot 1/18/2007 in the kitchen of their Encino, CA home.

Islam makes a person "emotionally depressed". i am a Hindu and there was this Muslim friend of mine who told me about Islam, which i found to be pretty interesting initially.. and after a few days he started saying that i should convert and become a Muslim! He kept calling me "kafir" and stuff, which was very irritating! After that i just stopped tlkg to him! One thing i realised, Islam is one religion, where the more u respect it, the more you get into deep shit!

I agree. Don't try to change someones faith, just accept their own beliefs and respect them. Better to have a different faith than no faith at all, right? Besides, how boring would the world be if we all worshiped the same. It's good to have a little diversity!

Suki40330 - I grew up in a small town In California, & I never knew anything about Jewish people,..and this may sound childish or naive, but I still cannot figure out what is to be hated about Jewish people and the Jewish religeon.When you were raised Catholic & taught to worry about pergatory;Had a list of Commandments that you knew you were gonna screw up sooner or later you think that any religeon's got to be more fun."Confession"?Even as a kid I thought, this is bullshit.Oops still swearing.

Sounds like the mob, really. If there are a lot of relions, okay. I can kinda deal with that as long as they are peaceful, but that doesn't mean all religions we have now are good. Personally, I think Islam had better reform itself as a whole quick like other religions did. I think Islam is just too violent even in its teachings. Some muslim sects have reformed to fit more civilized western standards, but as a whole, Islam seems rather barbaric.

i just saw the movie a mighty heart , and i am really sorry for his wife and his loved ones who had to go thru this unfortunate event.i was so stunned watching the movie , i cannot imagine what his wife must have been thru. its really sad sad sad

I am not Jewish, and none of my family is Jewish. But THANK YOU for this video. I've been hunted by Daniel's story, amazed by the courage of Marianne, and touched by your Dignity. I feel pain, but no anger; a moment of quietness but no freedom. I would like to see more videos, or videos responses like this, emphasizing more love and respect. Through his words, through his faith, you wash all the hatred they tried to spread, in vain...

I agree with you MR Pearl, stay proud and i am sorry for your loss of Daniel, i have been following his legacy..
Even though i choose 'Islam" i have dual nationality's born in england and now a australian of 39 years..AND I am proud to be aussie..Its the fanacitcs and fundo's that do all the damage in any religion i know..
The times in paki and even lived in pakistan i know about corruption there..But like every country there is good and bad everywhere..
