Well said. Although there are a couple of problems that kinda put down the existance of large dragons.
The main issue is that the KT event wasn't the ONLY mass extinction before our time. At the end of the Eocean, A mass extinction took place where 90% of living things died out. That's what killed off most of the pre-historic whales.
Also, how would they be able to grow so big and not displace the current top prededotrs of the era?

The marine dragon has four limbs plus a pair of wings... so it would mean that it has SIX limbs in total (since wings are generally the front-limbs of most winged animals minus insects). What prompted the extra pair?

actually dude cetatians(i belive thats it)whales,porpoises and dolphins; did just that they were sea mammals that climbed onto the land during the 'Age of Mammals' then during one of the Ice Ages that occured during that long period returned to the ocean. If ya don't believe me check it out it's pretty cool especially as the land versions were apparently very dog-like.
