i dont see why. speed metal symphony's material could have easily made it on the 80s thrash scene. There singer is what killed it. In my opinion, go off sucked(except for the solos). the songwriting is boring. Speed metal symphony has great riffs that you can bang your head to. its so original and creative. the production and vocals are what killed it.

thats how the music scene is ive played so many shows with great bands where you actually say to your self "damn...this band is going to make it" but then you relize the band right after them pretty much sounds like them

i wouldnt be suprised if other musicians at the time slandered these two.. just out of pure jealousy and the incability to do what they do. they easliy murder any guitarist from thier time period and probably all the guitarists from this period as well. Becker is in another class; a genius/composer in my eyes.
