There will never be another Cary Grant. I wish it was true that we had them, but those days are long gone. Cary had charm and class and Frank played the fool, what a shame, someone with respect should have given Cary that award. Frank wasn't close to being funny.

Fifty years from now, people will still be watching and talking about Grant...comparing new "stars" to him. Clooney will be a footnote with an asterisk in the history of Hollywood and American films.

Cary Grant was the most eloquent gentleman to ever grace the screen. He was the epitome of the suave romeo but was incredibly funny. His films are among my most cherished possessions, because he can romance Ingrid Bergman or Deborah Kerr, perform comedic genius with Katherine Hepburn, or star in a Hitchcock drama anytime I want. He lives on in his films. There will never be another Cary Grant. No male star today comes close. Clooney is handsome and funny, but that doesn't cut it.
