It is so great when someone like David Cook can come on and take on a Chris Cornell-remake of a Michael Jackson song that was perhaps the best selling single of all time in the history of music.
He was very brave to take on this song. The arrangement may not be his credit, but attempting such a MJ worldwide smash-hit is really a bold move. As Cowell said, if anything goes wrong, David Cook will be ruining a classic. But David Cook delivered!

It's a decent cover, but to me, it just grates slightly on the ear. His voice just doesn't gel with Cornell's, and I am listening to it with Cornell's version running in my head.
