Thanks for the explanation. It makes sense that people did not understand back then or it was ritualistic. However, who knows for sure. The problem is the "ignorance" has lasted for centuries, which makes one wonder at times if the world is in the 21st century. I do hope awareness and education become the powerful tools for change. To me this can be the "root" of many harms for people because they lose the ability to stimulate some very necessary hormones, for growth and for love.

I am not talking about covering her face but her dress, what she wore, it is in line with Islam and christianity and not a "bad tradition if you ask me".
