I don't disagree that he was being obnoxious with his question, but I don't think he would have been as uncooperative if they'd let him finish his question, and then asked him politely to leave. The tazering was not necessary, as they already had him cuffed, and when he was carried to the back of the room, they should have kept going out of the hall.

I know that the force continuum that cops use here(which is what I learned), says that once the individual has been subdued(cuffed counts as subdued), the escalation of force ceases. They tazed him after he was cuffed.

You realize, Meyer was not getting arrested as soon as he was touched by the officers. He was simply getting escorted out, because the school officials found it as disorderly conduct. Who said he was getting arrested but HIM?
I forgot to mention ...( 10 months ago by DestinStrider)
I forgot to mention, the school cut his mic and had him escorted out for saying clinton got impeached for a blowjob. They also issued him a warning when he was on the ground that if he didn't calm down, they would taser him. His response was to try and break free, screaming "I told you not to tase me!" So they tased him.

Once he WAS arrested, they told him he was arrested for starting a riot. (When he called for help, he was, in fact, trying to start a riot, even though it didn't happen.) Also, the cuffs weren't on him when they tased him.

As for this, he was breaking free of them. So they tackled him.

Actually....he wasn't cuffed. Subdued...yes...but not cuffed. The police were trying to get him cuffed. The taser isn't meant for someone who is attacking them, it is primarily used as a means of gaining compliance from an individual that is being ....well...non compliant..to say the very least, uncooperative.

Miranda must be read only if the Officers were going to question him. In Hollywood its always the first thing the Cops do, but is unnecessary in the real word unless they plan to engage in a custodial interview.

Regardless of the case, he was asking questions. Whether he was going to debate or not, was not even given a chance to manifest. The kid wanted an answer first and foremost. I'm not sure which video you watched, and from which angle, but the one that I saw showed him clearly cuffed before the tazing, and one of the cops with a grin on his face while tazing him.

hey I WAS watching your video and I just wanted you to know that there is a comment that you made that you said he was cuffed and then he wanted to know what he was doing wrong, resist or nothing it does not matter just to inform you not being rude or anthing, as a police officer they do not have to read anyone their rights unless it is custodial interrogation,

Also, just for your information, not meant to be rude: No one has the right to resist unlawful arrest, only for the mere fact that you do not know what is lawful or non lawful, you have the right to resist unlawful force, clearly yes the man was tazed more than likely too many times, but I think that they tazed him because he was resisting arrest and thought maybe

no. he wasnt asking questions so much as he was accusing senator kerry, whom i am no fan of, of being a member of some conspiracist secret society. it was more of an accusation than a question, and he didnt so much ask it as he did yell it. were the police justified in tazoring him? perhaps not, but i think he deserved it nonetheless so i am not sympathetic to him.

Kerry should have answered his question, and references to Mad House ( Which everyone should read ) "People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people." The Police/Goverment didn't like that question I assume. America - Soft Fascism society.
