I don't know why any of you are comparing Boyz II Men and Take 6. Take 6 came before, and Boyz II Men came in and started doing something different, but they're both wonderful. I'd say that Take 6 is more talented in acapella and jazz than Boys II Men is. I enjoy both. I enjoy anything acapella - I don't see the sense in making a fuss about who's better. You either appreciate good music or you don't.

THANK GOD! SOMEBODY WITH SOME FREAKIN' SENSE!!!! THESE GUYS HAVE MASTERS AND DOCTORATES IN MUSIC IMBECILES!! Oh, and btw, for all of you idiots who think that if you cant make love to it or if it aint got a "bangin' beat" then it aint good music, yes, you are dumb. Most of you have no clue what is going on in the music or how difficult it is to do what Take6 does. It's like Pavarotti & McHammer. They're not bringing them down, they're just telling the truth. B2M was better than mediocre, so I see your point, but in comparison to the best in the world, they're mediocre. Take6 sung with the Boston Pops Orchestra and it was unbelievable...my god! This is the difference: It is the equivalent of Steve Nash and Lebron James: Lebron has all of the talent, but why did Steve Nash win two back to back NBA MVPs? It's not simply talent...it's talent AND discipline...it's Take6.

comparing Take 6 as a musical accapella group to Boyz2Men is unfair...one group is there for mainly it's artistic expression and the other was there to make nice records,have a "cool image" make $ and sing nicely

Before there was Boyz2Men there was Take 6. I love them both but there is no comparison between the two. You can tell in their voices when they (B2M) have sung long enough. Take 6 can keep going, & going, & going. Just listen.

Absolutely perfection and a vocal harmony of pleasure to the ears, its sad to think that recent pop musics are more and more resorting to studio edits to "candy-coat" it. True blue excellent vocals that does their music perfect with the minimum studio edit are getting more and more rare. In short, the old songs are really starting to sound better by each living day, especially Take 6's Acapellas - Every song of them..

Take 6 are from Oakwood University, aka Oakwood College. A college ive been connected since birth basically, my mom is a prefessor there and i am a student at the highschool. My mom went to school with them all, she remembers them announcing in class that they were nominated for a grammy i believe. I saw 3 of them sing couple months ago at a funeral at their home church Oakwood College.
Its not wierd seeing them, but it is wierd seeing how much people outside of huntsville, AL know of them.

When I was a kid, I went to their concert at Norfolk State. They are talented boys from Oakwood College. I went to CUC, but my cousins and some of my friends went to Oakwood University (formerly Oakwood College).
