My granddaughter, Emma, was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes at the age of 9 months. She will soon celebrate her 3rd birthday.
The Audio background is from a radio spot produced by the local chapter of the Childrens' Miracle Network in 2006. The photos were taken by the family. The voices belong to Emma's Mom & Dad.

i'm Jenny and I'm a teenager with type 1 diabetes from California. This fall my dad and I are riding 70 miles through Death Valley for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (this is our 2nd ride, we rose 58 through Death Valley in May 2006). I wanted to say wow....great video and content. I am a type I, so is my mom and we watch for signs in our girls becuase I know the real possibility. Give her a hug from a diabetic momma who also has a minimed pump.
