I love the piano melody in Josiah songs, so I made this video with piano parts of some of them. I also placed the name of the song on each one.

i just love this video because i love Josiah's piano skills, will you please make a video about Emile Hirsch with people diving or animals... Please i am such a fan of Emile Hirsch and Josiah Leming and if you could combine them together with his song and Emile's movies.. I am a fan of you video work so this is why i am asking you... Wow. Magical. Breathtaking. I can say, with careful analysis, that this is one of my favorite YT postings (of ALL time). It is so great/special to see a fellow Josiah fan notice the tremendous gift he has in piano playing. These sonic images, enhanced by the glorious picturesque landscape of the Alps, just leap out at you instantly and swirl around through all layers of the subconscious/conscious mind. His style transitions easily from fierce, to loving, to somber, to tender, to joyful. (1of2)

Josiah has a distinct style rooted in Classical Music when he plays. Catchy but not what I would call 'throwaway/standard pop' (thank goodness, he's different!). "Animals" I see a definite influence/tone with Elton John's speedy rhythms. "Social Insecurity" is dark/bombastic & has a feel of a MeatLoaf tune. "31 Pages" has that touching Billy Joel side. "Four Corners" makes me think of a Rolling Stones ballad. "Planes Overhead" is the most cinematic; I could see it in a movie with a battle scene.

(2of2) Thanks so much for posting; this is one music fans who recognize the gifts of Josiah can appreciate always. It is overwhelming to think that such a young person could create such wonderful pieces of melody. He's way ahead of his time (and age). What he has done so far (in my view) will already stand the test of time. He puts so much thought/heart/precision into his music. I hope more people learn and discover the triumphant pleasure of listening to Josiah's unique music; one-of-a-kind! A+

I'm hard pressed to pick a favorite; as one can hear with this collage, Josiah's songs are distinctly different and evoke a different mood, but together they stand tall as 1 great cohesion of song! You did an INCREDIBLE job, the nature scenes really made me 'feel' what was happening, and 1 cannot help but bask in silence at the sheer majestic skill of this hard-working artist. Idol is history...onto the future! I wish him well on all his endeavors, as well as the fans & URself. Thanks again. :-)
