I'm Canadian. We don't have too many trailor parks full of white trash here. Our governement takes minimal care of its citizens. Human rights matter in my country. I'm not anti Gravel, I'm just intrigued how radical he is compared to mainstream America. We have nothing against liberals in Canada. Obama doesn't inspire real hope, at best he inspires the prospect of hope. He gives you promises, and nothing more, which, once he takes office you will find out (just as those who voted Bush in 200 found out) that all he said amounts to lies. Obama is a fraud, sorry, the only real deal running this term (you, being on the internet, can probably see where I'm going with this) is Ron Paul.

How exactly does one determine what Obama states is mere promises? In my reading, he is one of the most integrious candidates in recent history. How can we compare him to Bush? I think Gravel is way too emotionally, intellectually, culturally and mentally invested in the US to move to any other country. I agree his presidential likelihood are nearly nonexistent but he needs to be in some position of influence to start changing things. Again, you cannot predict that because Bush is a liar, that Obama will be also. He has definite intentions to end the Iraq war, and for you to say otherwise is disingenuous. You are cynical, trying to punish an innocent man for the sins of someone else. The only person worthy of this is McCain, who publicly backs Bush's policies and desires a war in Iran. Unless hell freezes over, if you want to support a winning candidate, you need to make your decision between Obama and McCain.

Well you've said nothing, basically: all people with sense won't vote for Ron Paul, and Obama has a clear chance of winning.
