Betty Hutton's most notable film role was the part of Annie Oakley in the 1950 musical of "Annie Get Your Gun." One of her best known songs (Blow a Fuse, later renamed It's Oh So Quiet ) was covered by Icelandic artist, Bjork.

It sucks, Betty Hutton said she wasn't a great dancer or singer (tho she was) but wanted to act - but they always stuck her in westerns! She wasn't always this campy but she didn't mind making a fool of herself. They lacked imagination so she alwasy ended up a hick, cow poke or tom boy. If you're a woman and not glam people don't know what to do with you.

So so True, Movies are great and all but they killed all of the Theatre stuff, not only that but with all the new Tech stuff it also killed the Musicals! Geez, I'm 12 and even i know NOTHING can replace these classics! :D
