i hate how the models are flawless already. Like the model above, she doesn't even need a regular foundation, let alone airbrushing. Give us some real everyday women with blemishes, acne spots..something. So we can tell the difference.

if you have acne scars that are like little hollow spots in your skin, tthe only way to really hide them is to create an optical illusion. Use a concealer lighter than your foundation to help minimize the shadows in those spots. By filling and blending them in with a lighter color, it creates the illusion they are higher in surface, making the skin appear even. Actually there is not a lot of makeup on her. Just a primer to help the makeup last and go on more smoothly, a concealer to help blend out dark areas and the foundation and powder to set it. What kind of foundation are you using? I would love to know your secrets.

question for the highlighting process..if i dont do the airbrish technique.could i still do the highlighting on the brodge of the nose,the chin..and the browbone area if i just do a normal eyeshadow application.??? i like the whole idea of this but i dont know if thats only for the airbrush makeup tech

At the moment im just using loreal true match foundation, and then i sometimes put a small about of powder on my face if im having a bad day lol. It only takes about 2 mins to do it! But the foundation is great!

I haven't tried it, but it sounds like something good to check out. You must have amazing skin, you are one of the very blessed people I come across in this line of work. The model in this video had uneven skin texture from acne scars. The foundation I use is more like a tinted moisturizer in coverage, so it takes multiple passes to get the desired effect. I buy all my airbrush supplies from a website called Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. They offer great start up kits for makeup artists just starting out all the way to full size pro kits like what I use. The prices are the best out there, in my opinion. Pukapa, The spray is actually the foundation. Instead of applying it with a brush or a sponge in a traditional manner. This foundation is a thin version of what a regular foundation is. It is spray through an airbrush, like what is used on cars for detailing. It just creates a flawless application that is not streaked.

You can purchase these products from obsessive compulsive cosmetics online. the link is in the video info section to the right of the video. You can use this on your body but I would recommend using occ:ink. It is alcohol based and won't rub off onto clothing. But you can use occ:skin just as well. Just make sure to not stain clothing.check out the website for more info!

I'm very interested in airbrushing and I'm curious... can you only use the makeup from the occ line for the occ airbrush tools? Also, I have acne prone skin.. is occ fondation all right for my skin type? please get back to me with more info. Thanks!!

Michelle, Hello dear.... Thanks for the question. for most airrursh cosmetics, you can use just about any airbrush tools to apply them. There may be a few out there that require certain tools, but to my knowledge everything is interchangeable. Just remember before mixing two different lines of cosmetics, make sure to test if they agree. Occ is a great product and I have had no problems with it causing breakouts. it is a very light product and non-greasy. I hope this helped. Stay Beautiful!

The foundation you use has to be specially formulated for use in the airbrush. You could take a regular liquid foundation and spray it through, but I find it easiest to have something that is ready the moment I need it. Besides using a regular foundation that has been thinned out runs the risk of clogging your airbrush. Check out OCC for the complete line of airbrush ready cosmetics! Thanks for watching!
