Human excellence at its very best... With all the crap on YouTube what an amazing display of artistic perfection! Darrell played this song live on my local radio station (knbtfm) and it gave me the chills as I was driving home. Awesome Musician! Big thanks to him for coming to New Braunfels.

Good news for all fans is the release of the DVD "Transatlantic Sessions: Series 3" bringing together the best of Nashville, Ireland and Scotland to perform what has been called "the greatest backporch shows ever".
All of the six half-hour programmes from the BBC/RTÉ TV series are included, recorded in a beautiful old converted farm steading in the Perthshire Highlands.

Tom, Thanks for posting these videos in the first place, I've played the dvd a million times since Xmas! Sadly the more widely known Darrell becomes the less chance we have of seeing him where he really shines, in small venues. such a soulful musician, never fails to move me.

It's actually a Taylor K20. Not that it matters. It's more the player than it is the guitar, and we all know Mr. Scott is an exemplary player musician.

When I get to heaven I'll have a Taylor or a Larrivee. Right now I'll just have to keep playing my old Gibson. She still sounds sweet although she needs to be retired because she's been ridden hard for 35 years.
