I don't understand what people are arguing about. Wicked is popular with all ages, while Avenue Q is more popualr with the critics and seen as more revolutionary. I love both the musicals. Does it really matter which won which piece of metal at an award ceremony? They both won the same number of Tonys! Avenue Q won more for its music and plot etc, whereas wicked won them for things like appearance, and of course Idina. Can't people just accept that they are both great!!!!!!!!!

Gary Coleman said he wants to sue the producers of Avenue Q. He should just audition to play himself, he can get some of his stolen money back. It's better than doing commercials for Cash Call and working as a Rent a Cop.

wicked and avenue q are both good... but lets be honest... wicked is just a pretty face... it didn't win best award because... well besides the awsome songs, costumes, effects and idina menzel... it sucks. the script on its own is terrible and without all those awsome elements it would have

Why are we comparing Avenue Q and Wicked? They are two very different musicals and are great in their own ways. I love both, but you just can't compare the different styles.
