Considering that the premise is valid, why be sure god taught them anyway? E.T.s could have taught them. Maybe Atlanteans or other ancient and now disappeared people could have taught them. But this is all unfounded speculation, or believing what we choose to believe. Ancient people had the benefit of time, of trial and error, of seeing what works better. Science give us no REASONS to suppose that there is an Intelligent designer. Without positive evidence in its favour, scientists don't have to hold Intelligent Design up as a scientific theory; so far, ID has only poked holes in current scientific knowledge (as though that somehow automatically validates it. It doesn't). Perhaps you should try to be more attuned with what science has actually discovered, and stay away from the Bible quotes that don't constitute REASONS to see ID as compelling.
