5000 degrees you say, I believe you are correct, but it was not from kerosene, as that will burn no more than 600 degrees. Else how come a kerosene lamp doesn't melt when you use it. But yes thermite gets to 8000 plus and does a great job. I took some concrete path and through it from a cliff well over a thousand feet, it did not turn to dust. To quote Larry, "We pulled the building."

Actually from what I read Thermate burns around 4,500 degrees. More than twice the melting point of steel.

Jet fuel or Kerosene needs to be in a special fuel air mix to even heat steel to an orange glow. It's almost impossible to get to melting tempatures.

God you people are dumb. The jet fuel burns, the combustibles burn, the chemicals burn, then the building insulates it so the heat doesnt go anywhere. Hi vespacurry. I did some digging around on this and for what its worth heres what i learned:
Jet fuel has an open air burning temp of circa 287.5 °C. The steel members in the WTC's where allegedly heated by said fuel to 1,000°C. Problem is thats a deficit of circa 712.5°C. So where did this extra 712.5c come from? From what i can gather, there is no way jet fuel brought down the twi
n towers. No way at all. Unless of course i am missing something.

Giday ve240 I too have done my own Q&A and agree with your analyses, what I conclude is if the experts are silent or support this idea that 911 was executed by 15 Saudi men with box cutters, then they are involved or offering support to the conspiracy and must be seen as terrorists, as they have aided and with held evidence to a crime. All I can say is no one has ever seen building ever 1/3 the size of these buildings collapse, so no one really knows how they would behave. Windows being blown out many floors below the main collapsing cloud could easily be the result of air blasting out through the elevator shafts. Just MHO

Liquid fuels will vaporise before getting close enough 2 a hotspot 2 support heating above 1600C. Alternative = force feul & oxygen together 4 more heat, x: when burning coal w forced air. A structural fire w JP4/5 is the same. Get close to the heat & it vaporises & removes heat, until it mixes with fresh air 4 a flame, thus heat is decentralised w little chance of concentrating in steel structure fire.
A reason why steel used in WTCs, buildings designed to withstand this. Sue engineers too?
