Edaz, I had heard the same thing regarding his son. Of course how do you ever really get over something like that? So sad and so cruel to a man who brought so much happiness to so many. I saw a DM roast years ago where I think it was Don Rickles while talking about another show said 'DM couldn't work er, he was sober!' and he then said 'Jesus Dean, your eyes! waht have you been drinking? Windex?' Everyone laughed their tits off including the great DM. No way did he perform drunk.
