I think fire would probably suit you better. According to the play its skin was too tough for a bullet to pierce. Granted, a shotgun has quite a bit more oomph than a .38 special, but why take any chances?

I beleive that this is the first song to be nominated for a best song Oscar that contains swearing - didn't win. Funnily enough the songwriters (Alan Menken and the late, great Howard Ashman) later went on to write the songs for some of the greatest Disney movies of our time (and don't worry, they eventually got best song Oscars for Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast!)
Alan Menken now has more Oscars than any other living person, thus he is a Legend!
