rhythm? feel? there is none!! it's pretty cool that robots can play instruments now, but it got no soul. once they make it play dynamics and articulation and stuff, THEN i will be truly impressed.

Robots won't substitute musicians. Don't worry.
Robots need to be programmed, they don't learn, they don't improvise. A concert given by robots would never be like a human concert, but it would be interesting because it's different, impressive.

Yo! this robot has no rythym or soul I'll give it kudos for tryin but it doesn't sound as great as John Coltrane or any other human that can play this. Robots playin instruments is impressive but i suggest that they shouldn't perform in real concerts. I know real music this isn't music!

Yeh, yeh, yeh ...you programmed a robot to play Trane's solo on Giant Steps....so what....the bot plays it SO generically, devoid of any feeling.....where's the human element....you know.... the feeling....the soul.....So a robot can play sax....But....A robot ain't got SOUL!!!!

yea yea no soul... ... ( 2 weeks ago by etheangel2220)
yea yea no soul...got it. the only problem with this comment is that no one knows what soul is. thats is, there is no real definition...you will always get a different explanation from people. Im not saying there is or there isnt one...im just saying that everyone is so sure that this robot doesnt have it, but nobody is really sure what IT is.

I'm pretty sure what he's getting at is that a robot can't feel, and really, if you can't do that you have no business being an artist.

connor is probaly working on the monkey that plays jupiter....im going to stop listening to this now because it isnt enough that i still cant comprehend how the hell coltrane came up with this solo..now the robot just complicated a complicated solo with that shitty techno sound....
