I thought we were talking about Ron Pauls stance on the states deciding on abortion rights. I'm sure that there will be a couple of states that will make it illegal. And I'm sure that would make it difficult but not immpossible for someone to travel accross state lines. Itcostsmaybe $20 for abus ticket. What would a young poor woman do if a president put in Supreame Court Justice that overturn Roe v Wade and make it illegal country wide? That's the trend now and is also very possible.

Because a woman gets pregnant and cannot afford to abort the child you want to take my tax dollars to do it? How many of these women have a car,a cell phone, or smoke or drink or buy lottery tickets? VERY few people in this country are truly "poor". Our society has gotten spoiled and suffers greatly in the area of "budgeting". Abortion is the "Slavery" of our time. We,the taxpayers, should be no more responsible for a persons (male or female) relationship decisions anymore than their mortgage decisions. There are MANY organizations to assist women w/ various personal situations that are locally funded/supported.
