Maude Barlow and members of the Council of Canadians, the Canadian Labour Congress and others attempt to deliver 10,000 petitions to the leaders at the Montebello summit for the SPP (Security Prosperity Partnership). They had an arrangement to deliver the petitions to the gate but at the last hour the government reneged on that agreement and the petitions were met by the riot squad instead.

Work a 9-5, get some debt, and try to pay it off with all claimed money. You seem to be forgetting...I dont believe the system ( or your reference to economics ) is valid because I believe that everything is controlled by someone thats not in sight.

Live within your means, who said life is easy. the economic system is not going away, although it might evolve. "Controlled by someone that not in sight" tooth fairy, Santa or is that Satan. Now I'm getting scared. No life/ history is just a cycle(food cycle), some people rises to the top and the rest get burned.

Every culture from the beginning of time has had people on the top. The problem is some people do not what to take resposiblity for thier own lives, they want to protest and complain, instead of getting elected and taking control. Putting faith in unseen individuals (Santa/Satan) controlling their lives sounds like being a victim.

I cheer for the Protesters this happened in the US too and it needs to happen in Mexico. We have rights, yet this meeting took place behind closed doors..the only way we can make chnage is to demand accountability ate every level of government, EVERY CITIZEN, has the obligation to write, phone/and or email their politicians..DEMAND THAT THIS DEAL GO TO A VOTE.
The funny thing is that the Neocons in the US , do not want this..then they would have Mexicans and Canadians crossing at will..so use that scare tactic on them..ACT..do not leave it to someone else.

Till some one gets a court order and some sort of legal order. your protesting was stoped before it even got started look at all the police that where there they planed and played each of you. If Canadians and Americans are to stop the SPP from going any where then we must have some court order to make them stop. If we cant do this then all of the rights we think we have , we dont they will use force and fear to stop you we have to do this by the law they use on all of us.
