When we should make professional recordings -- and were in the studio writing songs, we thought about it. Here started a new time for the band. And we were thinking about a band name. It'
s important, that when people see us, we have a cool band name. We should use a band name that fitted us -- we fount out, that we all were "city-people" - and we like big cities. We didn't want a trite name. Tokyo was cool as a city if you look at it, because we haven't been there. The city is huge
and people don't know that much about it. Then we looked for a symbol that fitted us. Then we got up with the word "hotel". And we got the name Tokio Hotel. Nanna: What is the song Rette Mich (Rescue Me) about? Bill: Yes, it's the only real ballade on our album. It's a song about being helpless
. About love and friendship, that disappears. And it's about being alone. Good times going away. We express how helpless you are -- that you're sad -- and the only thing you need, is to be rescued. Nanna: How do you feel about, that some people think, that you look like a girl? (To Bill) Bill: T
