It should be illegal b/cuz in foreign countries if a dog doesnt win so many races a month they hang it from a rope, or they gouge out its eyes, or even burn them to death. thats only naming a few things that happen to these precious dogs when put into races in some places. So next time you see a greyhound make sure you pray. not just for that dog but for its entire species as a whole. 14year old, David. The races don't have to be illegal, just that abuse. Greyhounds love to run and I'm sure they love to race, the problem is a deeper one of human psycology. If the races are illegal they would crop up elsewhere.
And really, what goes on in foreign countries is not my business. As long as they don't do anything to me, I'm not concerned.

i agree with fairwindsgirl2, horse racing is not cruel! eight belles had her ears up and was happy slowing down after the race. it was just a freak accident, something that rarely happens in racing! and horses are loved by their owners cause barbaros owners paid lots of money to save his life!
