With this incredible orchestra, Kleiber gets different kinds of colors based on his conducting. He tastefully controls his thunder rolls and subtly pushes the tempi on the lightning strikes, just like in nature.

The video is a bit out of sync. And the real question is: how do you conduct an orchestra that doesn't need one? You conduct precisely what you want to bring out of an already great texture...btw it also helps that they had rehearsed two weeks! on music they already know like the back of their hand.
