Y'know I really respect this kid. He fulfilled a dream. How many of us sit around wishing things for ourselves but don't go for them. As shy or awkward as he may be he still mustered the courage to put himself in front of the cameras to sing for people and he weathered much ridicule and trashing over the months and came out with dignity.

David's the closest to normal there is for being a celebrity. Sure it changes other people so they don't seem normal, but did anything about him change? Nope. Unless fame really changes who you are, it doesn't do anything to how "normal" you are.
