i prefere the orginal version, this is too acting if ya get me and not enough singing from the soul, the words should mean something to the person singing it should come from the heart so you dont need to act through the song she just doesnt mean what shes singing

I guess my comment may be annoying and all but it's still an opinion. I appreciate her voice and singing skills. She's got it and her tone is very well developed and warm. What I find annoying is her theatrical performance that shadows her singing. It may be appreciated by some people but I think she could have conveyed the same emotion without slightly changing the melodic sentences into broadway-like acting.

Hers (Barbra's) was the first version I listened of this precious song and it is quite heartfelt. Yet, one of Ella's version in here in youtube is also deeply moving and the phrasing and tempo, just divine as her singing was: Divine Ella! In summary, I love both versions, they appeal directly to the heart. Now, Julie London's is crystal clear! Thus, there are versions for each taste! All of them, great inspired artists!
