Thanks for including my car in the vid...I think I've given you a ride in the #9 evo before at CORE. Why all the Evo hatin' though? They took top spots in TA and PPO...no subies in sight! LOL

lol I was just playin with the evo thing only because I have an sti. No hating just jokes. yeah i got a ride at core it was awsome. I will give you props on it too. I have never had a ride like that in an sti (sssshhhhhh dont tell no one lol.

as a heads up the "lodge" you are referring to is Glen Cove. also the little hut in the middle of the road is the brake test station (in case you hear someone refer to that). And the corner above you that is a left switchback is called "George's Corner". Personally I would have walked down a few corners to the dirt, but I have watched practice from that same corner before and it is some good viewing.

yeah i liked our sop. We got them on the straight streatch and a corner. Thats what I as hoping for. The only complaint I have though is trying to get back down the mountain. People were driving way too stupid all bunched up for my preference. Thanks for the info on the mountain though....

Ya that kind of driving is Pikes Peak for you. I work in the pits so I only get to go up on the mountain for practice, but I take my bicycle so I can head up to engineer's corner (just below the picnic grounds) and when the racing is over I can get back to the pits before they release traffic. (although this year I tried to get pics of the parade lap so I had to bike down the yellow line to get between the cars.

I watch a lot of circuit motorsport in the Uk,But This is a F**KING MUST SEE. Blown away. Next year I will go for certain.
