I don't think poerblog is necessarily a bigot. A lot of people do not understand the topic of transgender. It is often times harder to grasp than homosexuality, especially when you have a transgender woman who is lesbian or a transgender man who is gay. Anyway, I would think that poerblog needs to be educated on the matter. Then if he or she still acts ignorant about it, the bigot tag might just fit.

The best and most simple way I can explain it to people is. Being gay means you are attracted to members of your same sex, being transsexual means you ARE the opposite sex on the inside. I really don't know why people have such a hard time understanding trans but seem to understand GAY so easily. Gay is about prefrence, trans is about identity. And if a trans person is gay he or she is attracted to members of his or her own INWARD gender.

Now that I've read poerblog's other comments on this matter, he did seem pretty ignorant in those particular comments. Especially towards lesbians and women in general. Hopefully, he has been better informed on these matters. In addition to screenwriting, I study sexual orientation and gender topics, and am well-versed in those subjects. But I do not often have the urge to educate people while watching YouTube videos. I thank all of those who actually are willing to and do.
