What is tragic is that over twice as many people have watched this much deserved win over much superior skates by Rudy Galindo (1996 US Nationals FS) and Maria Butyrskaya (1999 Worlds FS)!

You are an idiot. Joubert has never scored as high as Buttle did in his LP here. Even at Cup of Russia late in 2006 Joubert did 3 quads in a near flawless skate and scored lower then Buttle here by 3 points. Jeff is just too good, especialy for Joubert, no matter how the less talented jumping bean skates.

In 2006 at Cup of Russia,Joubert was very gutsy,but he wasn't flawless,due to the three quads,he didn't do any 3/3 combination and he only did one 3A,besides since the COP skaters have been taking difficulty out of his programs,in 2004 if you were doin 3A/2Ts you just were out of the race,and now just like buttle all of the skaters are acting like cowards going for safe,Joubert,Lambiel,Takahashi all of them are better than Buttle, and u'll see that next season, Buttle's never been consisten.

Jeffrey Buttle has so much talent, technical and artistically. The first time I saw him skate in the olympics, I knew there was something different about him and I've been watching him closely ever since. I hope he continues to do even better than this competition.

Yes he cant rely on others all splatting like Worlds this year at the Olympics and even Worlds next year. He got away with no quad here but it wont ever happen again. So Jeff has two choices either learn the quad or never win another big event. It is like Kwan had great artistry and overall skating but when Irina and Sarah started triple-triples Kwan knew she still had to start doing them to win and she did. Jeff has to do the same.

Congrats to Jeffrey Buttle, he did amazing! first place! It sucks he retired, but I guess he wanted to end on a good note!! Love him!!
