It was confirmed that the Stig didn't drive the F-1 car in this segment. Rather, they dressed up a Renault team driver in the familiar white suit and helmet. But there is a Stig who drives 90% of the other stuff.

Kovalainen, then a test driver for Renault and Miunardi, was "insured" to drive it. The Stig is not. He acted as a guest Stig on this show as they could not do it any other way.
