When you put it in bias context it's hard to come to a conclusion. A more factual question would be: Which is best, a set of rules written thousands of years ago before common-law, before power of attourney, before the internet and world travel, or mordernised rules which still impliment a degree of old fashioned moralistic values? In many places in the US that permit abortion there is a time limit (Florida, New York, ect) Thus there's still a degree of old fashioned morals.
