I loved this as a kid. We used to get WGN over the air (that used to be how us old farts watched tv back then) and it's a pleasure to see this again. So, basic, so unpretentious. As Christmas should be. thanks for posting this.

wyvernsc, one negative comment is plenty--you don't need to beat it to death. How about a little more tolerance? For those of us growing up in the Chicago area in the '50s and '60s, this is a Christmas classic. It's something that I think of every Christmas season, and seeing it here brings back happy memories of childhood.

I was a Garfield Goose maniac and when they showed Frazier Thomas and my favorite goose, Hardrock Coco and Joe instantly flashed into my head and I started singing it! My 18 yr old son thought I was nuts. Ahhhhhh memories...it ain't much by todays standards, but to us 50's/60's kids, it was among the favorites.
