I naturally rest my pinky on the bottom of my pickup, is that a bad habit? I think I do that because I orginally had a hard time maintaining the height across all the strings.

Thank You!!! Im just learning to play guitar, and this is probably the most helpful video I have seen. At first I would pick directly down, which wasn't fast at all, but now that I have seen this, picking at 45 degrees is much faster. Thanks!!
