The United Kingdom although vulnerable like all other nations at the present time, is well placed to get through the global downturn. We have low Interest Rates, High Employment Levels, a good Housing Market, and relatively low levels of inflation. The EU regulates and protects, that is why the farmers of the EU are inefficient and require subsidy instead of healthy competition. The British People are more than aware of the problems of our damaging EU Membership.

Low levels of inflations? The pound went down like a rock during the crisis! Well compered to other european countries your employment rate isn't much higher than any other rich one like France, Belgium or Netherlands. Your Housing Market has stoped growing (but it is not decreasing).
You can't let farmers compete against each other. Farmers allready earn not much money and if you let that market open many more will stop. But what else dsnt the UK like about the EU rules expect that for farmers?

The pound in comparrison with other major currencies is doing well. Inflation in the UK is lower than in the Eurozone. Our housing market compared to the USA is doing ok.

The reason European farmers are inefficient is due to their management. They are inefficient because they work on ancien principles in terms of land distribution unlike in the United Kingdom where farming structures and management is effective. If European farmers can't compete in a global market then they loose out, you cant protect business it has to be open not wrapped in cotton wool.

I think UK should stay inside EU. UK would definitly vote for getting out, but to my opinion, not for the right reasons. brits believe that being european means being less british, but actually EU task is to protect UK identity as well as other country's identities.
