If You look at the nose of a crocodile monitor, you'll see that the nose is much rounder. The Crocodile monitor also has spots and not stripes except for it's tail.

Not even close. Komodo's have much more body mass but are overall shorter in length. Never met a Komodo but Crocs can be quite mean and will FUCK YOU up if they bite you. No joke.
