Nevergvup thanks for the comment and the question. I am not aware of Bush having a youtube channel. If he does I would enjoy asking a question or two. I think the first question I would ask would be: in your view, Mr. President, what was it specifically that got you elected to a second term.

I like the idea that there are people out there who are not only asking question but also making an effort to understand them. Sometime the first expression requires a follow-up question or two in order to get a meaningful understanding. I have no hope of getting a response.

I imagine these guys are human first and according to readers digest the greatest human fear for Americans is speaking in front of a large audience. Having notes might help them stay focused when making a speech. When it comes to answering questions I hope they are speaking from a genuine place of authenticity.

This video, alone, has swayed me to subscribe to you. Your search for clarity isn't one that is a lone pilgrimage, but one that all Americans have been on since the mistrust of government really sprang forward in the 60s and 70s. I'm not sure if you've ever seen the film "The American President", but there is a scene in which Michael Douglas and Michael J. Fox argue about what the American people are searching for. At this time, I believe that scene has come to life.

Do you think that this campaign is as crooked as any other because 1: The amount of candidates this time creates a false sense of impending change, each works to sway the public and as they drop out only two will be left 2: this being done solely to have us elect the one candidate that "they" want in?

smithfire, I too felt the need to subscribe, but I, as opposed to you, feel that if the general public is asking questions, why then can't I hear their voices? I here the conspiracy guys and the shills and the politicians but I don't hear the people. No marching on the hill and demanding the truth. Surely there won't be a another Boston Tea Party.

Obama could be a shill, playing the race card, placed there to create the image of coming change, but in actuallity he could be another "dupe" working to keep people from committing to a candidate untill the very end, when he'll back out and leave, who? more bad choices, the only choices left? I think all of us are wanting to trust. After being disappointed time and time again I am not confident about our ability to even know what truth is. We have killed tens of thousands of people based on information which was presented not to inform us, but to persuade us to go along. How can we trust them when we can't trust us?

I think Obama's comments about the Iraq government is "Give a man a fish and you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish and you have fed him for a lifetime". The sooner Iraq can learn to take care of themselves, the sooner the troops can come home.

Thanks for the comment stranger. Apparently we had a problem with the way they were taking care of themselves, so we sent the military over there to teach them how to live in peace and harmony with each other. Oddly enough sending people trained to break things and kill people has failed to produce harmony or peace. IMO we have contributed more violence, death and destruction. I agree we need to leave, but I would like us to acknowledge that being there was about us not about them.

my conclusion is that Barack is convinced that the Alqaeda are somewhere in the USA, so he's gonna bring them home to fight them lol, or he is bringing the troops home, and sending their wives out to bring the fight to alqaeda

DBW thanks for the comment. Apparently I have two choices, Obama or McCain. Obama says he will take the fight back to Afghanistan, and McCain has told us that there will be more wars to fight. So I can choose between war or war. Non-violence as a behavior does not appear to be part of the conversation. "Leave it in God's hands and have faith" Sometimes I feel helpless too. Peace to you.
