Because they nearly always send bad songs, exhibit A is 2005. In 2008 they got many points, even though the song was really bad! If only, there were less Turks in Belgium, and Belgium had given Turkey like 8 points, then Belgium would have won in 2003! And in my opinion, this song is better than Everyway that I can, but that one is also a good song.

The United Kingdom should send soemthing of a Celtic. If Belgium can come 2nd with a mock-Celtic performance, then I am sure the UK could win with the real thing if it is doen properly.
We have so much celtic culture, Scottish, Welsh, Manx and Cornish. We could send a cracker of a Gaelic song ho wever the BBC are not willing to go out and search for it.

Regrettably it doesn't matter what the UK puts forward any more, as long as the voting is open to every country in Europe the Balkan'Baltic nations will win on the majority of occasions because of tactical voting and the apparent unpopularity of the 'big 4' in Europe in general. I think our entry this year was one of the best we have had in a long time and look where we came.
